Isaiah 40-42
"Tell the good news! ... Here is
your God" (Isaiah 40:9). "I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will
help you. I will support you with My victorious right hand" (Isaiah
41:10)."I am the Lord, that is My Name. I will not give glory to anyone
else or the praise I deserve to idols" (Isaiah 42:8). The preacher of
the Good News is called to proclaim salvation, bringing glory to God
alone - zeal for the glory of God and the salvation of sinners.
